REYKJAVIK, Iceland (AP) – Scientists in Iceland say the volcanic eruption that disrupted global air travel is winding down – but it’s not over yet. Icelandic experts told reporters Thursday there are still signs of activity coming from the Eyjafjallajokul volcano – spurts of ash and bursts of steam.

Percentage of state residents planning to get away over the weekend virtually unchanged from a year ago
Despite a sluggish economic recovery in the region, Delawareans still plan to get away this holiday weekend. AAA estimates that over 84,000 Delawareans will travel 50 miles or more from home this Memorial Day weekend, down a negligible 0.1% from last year.
