Mercer Island fifth-grade girls basketball wins division title
The fifth-grade girls Mercer Island White team won the Puget Sound Travel League silver division title by beating Inglemoor in the finals. The team, coached by Eddie Miles and assisted by Jill Sonsteby, started the tournament with a 43-42 win over Liberty, going on to face Redmond in the semifinals.

UF Women’s Basketball Returns to Action on Sunday at Ole Miss

Snow cancels flights at Va airports
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) – Winter weather is forcing some airlines to delay or cancel flights leaving from Virginia. Officials at Richmond International Airport say more 70 arrivals and departures on Saturday have been canceled. Spokesman Troy Bell says air travel could also be affected Sunday.

UF Women’s Basketball Returns to Action on Sunday at Ole Miss
The Gators are coming off a mid-week bye and return to the court on Sun., Jan. 31, when they travel to Oxford and play Ole Miss in the C.M. Tad Smith Coliseum, where tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT).
